Spinach Dahl Soup

Ingredients

15 oz can organic lentil soup no salt added*
1 teaspoon garam masala**
1 teaspoon turmeric**
1 teaspoon sea salt
2 organic tomato (diced)
1 small-medium onion (diced)
1/3 cup organic extra virgin olive oil
3 teaspoons minced garlic
1 1/4 teaspoons ground ginger**
8 oz (1/2 bag) organic frozen spinach
*We recommend Health Valley (many canned
soups are loaded with salt so be careful in choosing another)
**All dried spices were organic

Spinach Dahl Soup

Wash, then dice onion and tomato. Place them in a pot along with the dried spices, garlic, sea salt and olive oil. Sauté for a few minutes. Pour lentil soup into the pot and stir. Wash frozen spinach and add it to the pot and stir. Cook for about 15-20 minutes or until warm.
Serve over rice if desired.
